Esprit: The hunting side-by-side hunting shotgun
THERE ARE MANY NAMES ASSOCIATED WITH THE FRANCHI SIDE BY SIDE HUNTING SHOTGUNS IN HISTORY. TODAY’S ONE IS CALLED ESPRIT, THE SIDE BY SIDE FOR THE MODERN HUNTER.
In the hunting imagination, the Franchi side by side shotguns recall the history and tradition of this brand and even just by citing a few, such as Albatros, Goshawk and the unforgettable Imperiale Montecarlo, return to hunting tales full of charm and suggestion.
Today’s side by side shotgun is Esprit, whose name is the French translation of “spirit”, but also of “ingenuity”.
In fact, it is ingeniously made with 5-axis numerical control machines and, while maintaining a traditional look, it is an absolutely modern shotgun.
Agile in swinging and lateral movements, thanks to its low weight, and fast in aiming and shooting, it is the perfect companion for any type of hunting.
These features, as well as the possibility of having them with a short barrel, make the Esprit side by side also ideal for challenging shots typical of woodcock hunting.
Until recently considered a bit elitarian, side by side shotguns are a classic that never goes out of fashion and in recent years we have witnessed the rediscovery of the shotgun with two parallel or juxtaposed barrels, thanks to its intrinsic qualities and the creation of new and small calibers.
CONSIDERED THE STATE OF THE ART HUNTING SHOTGUNS, THESE SHOTGUN SARE THE MOST ELEGANT SMOOTH BARREL GUN FROM A PURELY AESTHETIC POINT OF VIEW.
The receiver, in tortoiseshell steel, is sized to the caliber and further embellished by the round body line, which gives it class and essentiality.
With Esprit, the tradition of shotguns evolves and transforms into streamlined lines with perfect ergonomics, capable of offering every hunter an absolute pleasure. In fact, like every Franchi shotgun or rifle, it was built according to the indications of the Evolved Ergonom-X development platform.
Lightweight and easy to handle, Esprit has Oil-finished Grade 3 woods, a knurled English stock and a Franchi orange rubber buttplate, giving it a youthful and characterful touch.
The single selective mechanical trigger is gilded and the trigger system, located on the back of the receiver, features internal hammers on coil springs with a double mounting system.
All Esprit side by side shotguns have automatic extractors as standard and have a 7-year warranty on the mechanical parts. They are also available on request in double trigger and left-handed stock, with pistol stock and beavertail fore-end.
Versatile and in four calibers, the Esprit side by side rapresents the freedom of pure hunting.
